A Cheetoh cat is a mix between an ocicat and a bengal.
Do they need alot of attention from humans or will they be fine when im at school and work with 2 other playmates (Dog and 4 year old cat)

    • Yes, because both breeds are high energy and need attention. IMO no reputable breeder of Ocis allows their cats to be in a breeding program to breed with Bengals.
So I would not buy one. I’ll take my Ocicat any day over these crosses. Some Bengals are very concerned about these crosses too!

    • The Cheetoh isn’t actually a real breed recognized by any registry. It’s a mutt. Since the Ocicat was used to create the Bengal, it doesn’t even add anything new. If you are interested in a hybrid of Bengal and Ocicat, buy a Bengal. They are much more beautiful than any Cheetoh. The so called Cheetoh was created by breeders of very poor quality Ocicats and Bengals that were having trouble selling their pets. They created a new “breed” to rope in new buyers, but it didn’t improve the quality (including temperament!) of their cats.
