You trained her to be like that. Never use your hand to play with a kitten. What is cute in a kitten is annoying when the cat gets older. The cat sees your hand as a toy because you probably wrestled with her when she was younger. Use a free standing toy or a toy on a string, but never use your hands or fingers.

I have a cat that does the same thing. I don’t punish him for expressing affection in his own way, I just stop petting him when he bites. He can’t help it,it’s just his way.
And agree with the answer above, my cat was born feral (wild) and he will never be like my other cats, but I still love him. -

I have a cat well a few, but anyway there is this one cat I have name Smokey she liked to bit too, she bit me once and I can say she has never bit me again, so what did I do. I bit her back on the tail. She didn’t like it and never did it again, now she gives loves without biting. The other ones seen what I had done and to this day none of them bit me.

This might be considered cruel but…stick a little hot pepper sauce like Tabasco on a place that kitty likes to bite and then do whatever you have to do to get her to bite there, the hot sauce ought to be a negative reinforcer. Or you could get a squirt gun and give kitty a squirt in the face whenever he does that. Thats how we taught our cats to not go under the recliner chair, it works.

If it’s blood then you should be more strict but not mean. If it hurts but not serious or blood, then it’s alright but you should probaly be aware of it.

My cat does this too.
Apparently it is caused by not having bonded long enough with the mother.
(My cat was found on the side of the road, almost lifeless, just after being born. )
