I Am Sure That My Beloved Black Cat Natasha Is An American Shorthair, But She Reminds Me Of My Late Siamese…
Posted on February 22nd, 2010 6 commentsShe has many of the same mannerisms that my late Siamese cat had. (I know she’s not a reincarnated version. haha!) The reason I compare her to my Siamese is because the mannerisms of my late cat were typically “Siamese” behavior traits. Natasha is very verbal, she will “answer” with different types of meows, and seems to have an extended range of different types of “meows”. SHe is also very friendly, very sociable, loves to be around people (she is constantly underfoot), and is very stubborn. Of course this could be typical cat behavior as well, and not indictative of any particular breed. I will try to attach a photo, because in this picture I think she has features that are a bit more exotic than the American shorthair/alleycat. She was a stray that my husband and I took in. Of course I love her to pieces irregardless. I am just curious. The link to her photo is:http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/157/n…

Black And White Striped Cat..?
Posted on February 20th, 2010 13 commentsHow many people think it would be awesome to take a large white DSH cat, and dye black stripes in his fur?! Lol He would totally look like a mini Bengal tiger! He has Ice blue eyes. I know, stupid, random question.

As I Thank You All With My Siamese Or Not Cat Question, I Learned That There Are Black, Green-eyed Orientals.?
Posted on February 11th, 2010 1 commentBecause of some white on him, I know my cat is not a purebred, but in doing more research, asking for information about Black Siamese Cats, I learned that yes, there ARE green-eyed black Oriental cats. Here is one website I went to, if anyone is interested in checking it out: http://www.palantir.co.uk/oriental.html
I would still like to contact some of you who provided me with some great information, but am not sure if my past 2 questions will remain open. I don’t know, but something still tells me (or seems to be
) that my chatterbox shiny, mostly black, green-eyed cat has some Siamese in him. (Is Oriental different? The site URL I provided was found in my “Siamese” search – Ask.com.) Thanks again, everyone. Have a Purrfect day! -
My Friends Blue-eyed Cat , Its Pupils Which Were Black Turned Red! Is This Normal?
Posted on January 21st, 2010 9 commentsThis Cat Of My Friend Jorden had blue eyes. It was a kitten, 12 weeks old, a white kitten with siamese mixed with other things, I think its mixed with Snow sepia Bengal. It was in a dark place, all of a sudden it saw the light and it turned red!
