How Do You Stop Your Cat From Climbing Onto The Kitchen Worksurfaces?!?

He has just learned that he is capable of jumping onto the kitchen worktops which I don’t like because there has to be SOME boundaries! I’ve tried lifting him off and firmly saying ‘NO’. I’ve tried spraying water at him. I’ve tried shutting him out of the kitchen but he cries at the door for hours and I hate to hear him cry! Help me!

How Do I Distract My Cat Away From The Ants In The Kitchen?

They have been crawling around in the floor because they apparently don’t like GreenWorks which I cleaned the cabinets with today. My 2 year old Ragdoll has spent the entire day staring at the ants and I can’t get her to do anything else! I gave her a can of Iams and she ate that and went right back to the ants. She is usually really playful – will she get tired of ant watching soon?
