  • How Long Is My Cats Approximate Life Span?

Posted on January 23rd, 2010 admin 6 comments

My cat is 13 now [: She's half bengal half siamese. She's healthy [as far as I know :P ] what would the life span of her be? I looked up Siamese’s and it said about 19-20, and I also looked up Bengal’s, which said 14-15. I don’t know if I should find the average? Someone with this type of cat?
    Thanks ?

  • Does Anybody Know The Average Life Span Of A Seal Point Siamese Cat?

Posted on October 17th, 2009 admin 4 comments

    Julie,
While the “average” life span of a Siamese cat can range between 12-15 years-of-age, a lot depends on genetics and bloodlines of an individual cat.
Veterinary care, nutrition and other factors also go into the equation of how long a cat will live. Of course indoor cats live longer than those cats that are allowed outdoors.http://en.allexperts.com/q/Cats-1606/Sia…
I have actually met a Siamese that reached the age of 20 years old, which was quite exceptional in my experience with the breed.
But they are just wonderful pets. I have two Oriental Shorthairs and I am totally in love with them. I take very good care of their health and am hoping that they will live a very long time. They are both 9 years old now. You can see them huddled together in my avatar.

  • I Want My Cat To Have The Best Life Ever!?

Posted on October 10th, 2009 admin 7 comments

I want my cat to have the best life ever. And I always want him to be happy. When I do one thing for him, I always feel I could do more. I want to know what I can do to really help him have the best life ever.
I train him. I’m training him to go on walks so we can spend more time together and so far he’s loving it. He can sit, beg, lay and roll over, yet I still feel he could be happier. He could have more fun. We could interact more.
He sleeps in my room at night with me, under the covers, just like a real human being. He’s treated like a royal prince, getting at least 3 presents every week. He’s spoilt rotten but lonely…i think.
I’ve tried telling my Mum, but she just says that he’s a Burmese and doesn’t need a cat friend, but I think he does…
    Help?
