My Cat Is Sick- Not Eating Much, Drinking A Lot Of Water, Throwing Up, And Looks Like She Is Losing Weight.?
Posted on November 1st, 2009 15 commentsshe is a bengal cat and, i think, 11 years old. she hasnt been eating much lately. she has however, been drinking a lot of water, and when she throws up it is mostly water. she also looks like she has lost a pound or so, which is considerable for a cat, and seems to lack energy. any insight is greatly appreciated.

Cat Losing Hair On Underside Of Tail?
Posted on October 24th, 2009 2 commentsI have a neutered male Ragdoll cat that is almost two years old. In the past few weeks I have noticed that he is losing chunks of hair from ONLY the underside of his tail. The area of hair loss has increased to almost 6″ of his tail, leaving only a tuft of hair at the end and on the top of the tail.
I can see the skin quite well, and I don’t see any redness/irritation/puffiness. There are no noticeable changes in his behavior, and he doesn’t mind me touching his tail. I have treated him for fleas and changed his food, but no marked changes in the hair loss or lack thereof.
Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? -
Why Is My Cat Losing Color On His Ears?
Posted on September 5th, 2009 1 commentCoincidentally, he is experiencing hip or leg pain. He vomits about twice a week. I have not changed his diet. He has not lost weight. He is a two-year-old full breed Ragdoll. Strictly indoor cat. His dark brown (seal) ears have fur, but the middle of his ears are experiencing color loss. Now the color is a light brown and beige color. The very tips are still seal. Is there a connection between the fading color of his ears and the leg/hip pain?
