Trying To Decide Between Two Cat Names?
Posted on February 24th, 2010 20 commentsI have a new cat and have two names I’m thinking of naming him. Either Apollo or Strider.
I like them for different reasons.
Apollo: Greek God of the sun, fits with the cat’s appearance, as he is a spotted bengal and has a glittery coat. But I’m not sure about the name because it has three syllables and I’m not sure if it would be too hard to say repeatedly, as well as for the cat to respond to.
Strider: Has two syllables, so it’s easier to say. But I don’t know the cat’s personality yet, so I don’t know if it would fit this name. Although it is the name of a person (in Lord of the Rings), so maybe that wouldn’t matter too much.
Which one do you prefer? If you had a cat with a longer name (more than two syllables) do you shorten it or wish it was shorter? -
Names For Kittens!!!?
Posted on February 18th, 2010 10 commentsHey, so I got three foster kittens. I need names. I don’t like human names for kittens, I like cute names and creative names!
Kitten 1: A ragdoll she-cat with pretty blue eyes. She is shy and doesn’t like to be petted.
Kitten 2: A dark tabby she-cat with white on her chest, paws, and face. She is very scared and shy and sick!! (She will get better!) She has greenish eyes.
Kiten 3: A Siameseish she-cat with pretty blue eyes. Playful, has coarse fur and has a bent tail!
They are all a little shy, but I just got them and they don’t have soft fur, but I still love them, I just mean I wouldn’t name one Pillow or Fluffy! hahaha. Anyway, they are around 6 weeks old, super cute!
I had posted this question yesterday, but it only got two answers….. -

Do Our Pets Names Suit?
Posted on February 10th, 2010 6 commentsHi,
I was wondering this today and thought I’d ask the public.
Do our pets names suit?
We have 4 dogs & 2 cats.
I have done it in age order. 1st is the oldest.
1) Saebra.
Saebra is a pomeranian x chihuaha i got at seventeen. She is twelve now, but here is the picture from when she was a baby. She hasnt changed.http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u50/b…
2) Amia. She is a ragdoll cat, i got her when i was 19 and moved out of home, she was with me throughout all the hard times
She is 9.http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u50/b…
3) Roy Jaks. He is a Siberian Husky. My fiance got him when he was 19 too, and had just moved out. He is an amazing dog.http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u50/b…
4 & 5) Cooper & Lilly are goldies we got before we had Scarlett. I had always dreamed of growing up with at least one goldie, and when we went searching we found these to at seperate farms and couldnt decide!
