  • Help With Cat Toilet Problems Please?

Posted on February 16th, 2010 admin 2 comments

I have a 1.5yr old male bengal who is normally very well behaved in the toilet department however lately over the last two weeks he has taken to poohing and weeing on my flatmates duvet covers. He has a hutched litter tray which he’s always been diligent at using and which is cleaned out regularly but recently he gets spooked on exiting it and flies out of it bringing the excrement with him. Any thoughts on how I can solve these problems? I may find myself having to look for another home if he doesn’t start behaving =(

  • Please Please Help Me With My Cats Matts!!!?

Posted on February 7th, 2010 admin 2 comments

Ok my Ragdoll cat started to get matts(big ones) a few months ago, we got a vet to come to our home and shave him..he went CRAZY,he never acted this way with us! She said it might be from when he got spayed at the ASPCA=( Soo anyway she was only able to get maybe 2-3 matts off of him! She also said no groomer will be able to groom him without tranquilizing him..she has ragdolls of her own(1 of her ragdolls will only let her groom him) so i believe what shes saying! If you dont know tranquilizing & groming is expensive!!! What can i do should we try and do it ourselves(me and my friend!)??? Do you know if Petco or Petsmart will do it??
Please help me!!! I dont want my cat to suffer any more=(

  • Bengal/savannah/safari Owners And Breeders Please Look?

Posted on January 28th, 2010 admin 4 comments

I found this article online today. I am a big cat fan, and think the bengal breed is beautiful and interesting, the same with the other hybrids. The stuff I’ve read about them before has been quite positive. I would love to in the future own a savannah perhaps. I don’t personally find anything wrong with hybridising cats as long as they are bred, and kept by responsible people who understand they may be more demanding, but the way the person in this article talks about them it’s as if all bengals are savage and mental, and it is cruel to breed them, and that the original studs often killed their mates and everything. This sounds very extreme but it’s posted on what seems to be a reputable website. If they were really that bad why would anyone keep them? http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl…
