  • How Do I Get My Bengal Kitten To Stop Jumping At My Face, Biting And Scratching?

Posted on February 24th, 2010 admin 4 comments

I’ve had him for two months and he’s generally really sweet but sometimes he can be really naughty. If you say a stern no and put him on the floor he becomes vindictive and will jump at your face and bite you. I’ve never had a cat before so not sure if this is a Bengal thing or a kitten phase. Please help because I want him to grow up well behaved and nice. Quite often if I switch the light off at night before he’s ready to go to bed he’ll pounce on my face and bite me.

  • Why Does My Cat Keep Scratching My Bedroom Door Wanting To Get In & Crying?

Posted on October 27th, 2009 admin 15 comments

I have a 10mths old Ragdoll cat named Pippo. Before, Pippo sleeps with me but as I have moved to my partner’s house, he is not allowed to sleep with us. He was very obedient & listens to us in the beggining for about 2months until recently he just cries alot & start scratching the door whenever we close it while sleeping. His cries & scratching will stop eventually at night but he will start again in the morning at around 7am untill somebody wakes up. This has been going on for 3 weeks despite our efforts to educate him not to…Does anyone know why or has a solution to make this stop? Pls help cos the scratching and cries are very loud and we cant seems to be gettin a good night sleep.
P/s: We tried opening the door while sleeping but he will jump right on the bed wanting to sleep with us.(We squirt water on him to scare him away but it doesnt work!)
