I Am Sure That My Beloved Black Cat Natasha Is An American Shorthair, But She Reminds Me Of My Late Siamese…
Posted on February 22nd, 2010 6 commentsShe has many of the same mannerisms that my late Siamese cat had. (I know she’s not a reincarnated version. haha!) The reason I compare her to my Siamese is because the mannerisms of my late cat were typically “Siamese” behavior traits. Natasha is very verbal, she will “answer” with different types of meows, and seems to have an extended range of different types of “meows”. SHe is also very friendly, very sociable, loves to be around people (she is constantly underfoot), and is very stubborn. Of course this could be typical cat behavior as well, and not indictative of any particular breed. I will try to attach a photo, because in this picture I think she has features that are a bit more exotic than the American shorthair/alleycat. She was a stray that my husband and I took in. My Siamese Cat Age 9 Yrs Had Diabetes. Do You Know Of Any Cures Or Aids Other Than Insulin Injections Daily?
Posted on February 22nd, 2010 10 commentsI am looking for holistic or any answers other than insulin injections (which do not cure or cover symptoms and cat dies usually within a year or two even with the injections)…and am currently on a Glucose support powder, wet food only regimen with my little cat. Any input welcome. He is doing OK but cant seem to regain his weight and is still very hungry – his fur looks great, as do his lively bright eyes and attitude though!

Need A Good Cat Name For A Siamese Kitten…?
Posted on February 21st, 2010 11 commentsShe is a slender, long legged blue point with an attitude. She’s also very frisky and active, extremely curious (gets into everything) and aloof. When she cuddles up beside me and allows me to pet her, she speaks with little chirps and chortles. She reminds me of an angel with a little bit of devil mixed in! Does anyone know of a suitable name? Her eyes are huge, round blue crystals and she is ivory with light blue-grey siamese points.
