What Things Would Suggest That My Cat Might Be Part Siamese?
Posted on February 16th, 2010 5 commentsBrowsing a few informative sources, I’m wondering; it seems likely, and I’m curious. What would I look for — or, how do more experienced people figure out these things?

Things To Look Into While Looking For A Cat Breeder?
Posted on January 11th, 2010 8 commentsSo heres the deal, I have always had cats my whole life. Recently my two cats one of 15(outdoor cat but loved to cuddle inside too) and my indoor cat of 17 years to stomach cancer. they both died a few months apart.
my brother has moved in because of some money problems he had. He decided to move back for a couple of months, in which he brought his small kitten. He is back on his feet now and will be leaving in two months, along with him his cat will be gone.
So i am looking at buying a cat from a breeder, i have always had rescue cats from shelters but I am considering buying a cat from a breeder.
I would like to know what things to look for when buying a cat from a breeder. I dont need it to be registered its not something of importance but I would like to know what sickness to ask for and have a vet guarentee(sp?) that the cat is good. what should I know about the parents.
Also which breed is easy to maintain? I know if I get a cat i will get lots of shedding but is there any breed that isnt so bad? i had short hairs and I know the shedding is tremendous so i was wondering if a long hair would be a bit better? Which breed would be best for this?
I am leaning more towards a female and will have her fixed.I will make this sweetie into a cuddle bug so I am looking for a cat that truly loves to snuggle.
I heard many things about the manx cat, however I do not know if cats can be bred like dogs and have the so called “hybrid” type. Also what are your thoughts on ragdoll kittens?
I truly dont mind crazy shedding but it would be nice to have something not as high shedders as short hair. I have no allergies. -
My Siamese Cat Knocks Things Off My Dressers In The Morning. Why?
Posted on January 8th, 2010 30 commentsYour cat is very scientifically minded, and is determined to find out if gravity if working at all times, especially in the morning. How better to test gravity than to knock things off the dresser in the morning. If they don’t fall, it means gravity is not working.
Seriously, it is a cat thing, and they sometimes outgrow it. I suspect your cat is under a year or two in age.
