I Think My Cat Is Sick…what Do I Do?
Posted on January 28th, 2010 8 commentsa couple of days ago my overweight white ragdoll started geting frequent fluid out of his eyes. his eyelids are really pink and he coughs alot. Can this be due to a food switch or should I bring him to the vet asap?

How Can We Make Our Cat Not Think We Are Going To Leave Him?
Posted on January 28th, 2010 4 commentsWe have a 10 month old ragdoll male who is so scared of other people! As a kitten he wasnt like this at all, was very friendly and wanted to check everyone out but then in Nov we went on holiday for 2 weeks! We thought it would be less stressfull for him to have a friend to move in than to put him in a cattery. She said the first couple of days he avoided her (wouldnt even sit in the same room) but by the 3rd day he would rub up against her, she played with him like we do, he’d let her stoke him etc. The day we got home she came over and he was fine with her but apart from that 1 time he doesnt like anyone who comes into his home! He will hiss at them or meow or growl at them, she has even been round since and he will let her play with him with his toys (which he wont do with anyone else) but even with her he will not let her touch him. I dont know if he thinks if somebody else comes in he thinks we are going to go? He is fine with me and my boyfriend, plays, cuddles etc. He is a house cat but we used to take him out, since weve been back he wont. I picked him up and took him out thinking he will be fine when he gets out but just meowed at me and didnt move if i put him down. Has anyone got any suggestions on how i can reasure him that hes safe as i dont want him to be unhappy or stressed every time someone comes in or even just to the door!

Cant Think Of A Name For A Siamese Cat?
Posted on January 24th, 2010 8 commentswell we cant think of a name for our siamese cat. we dont like the normal pet names like patch or snowball. we like unique human names.
we have thought of milo and gizmo but would like other options. we pick up our new cat in four days so we need one soon

What Kind Of Cat Do You Think My Kitten Is…?
Posted on January 16th, 2010 4 commentsMy kitten is White with stunning blue eyes, grey ears, paws, and tail. As well her face is grey to just above her eyes straight down to her jaw.
She is long haired.
Her brother is a long haired Orange Tabby.
She had 2 grey siblings and one Chesnut coloured sibling.
The mother was long haired with lots of browns and oranges and reds.
She is very calm and can be picked up and she wont really move, many of my friends think she is part ragdoll.
What do you think she is?
