Cat Came In This Morning…?
Posted on February 23rd, 2010 9 commentsand we saw his face all dirty and he had mud up his nose. He has a cut on his lip. We don’t know what to do. He keeps sneezing.
He is a male ragdoll kitten if that helps.
What should I do ? -
Siamese Cat; Rash? Can’t Believe I’m Asking This.?
Posted on February 18th, 2010 5 commentsAfter telling several worried pet owners to, “just go to the vet!!” I now find myself with an injured cat.
We plan on bringing her if her condition gets worse, money isn’t an issue, but at the moment she is getting better.
My question to cat owners (Siamese owners in particular) is if their cats have ever experienced rashes.
When we got home last night, we noticed my sister’s Siamese kitten had a bloody neck. We nearly died, thinking she’d cut an artery, but she barely noticed it. She has no cuts or scraps, so we’re not sure if she had a fight with her sister, or if she has a heat rash–if it’s possible for cats to get heat rashes?
Like I said, it’s getting better. We wrapped her neck with gauze so she couldn’t scratch it, and she’s just sleeping now. Still, what could it have been?? -
Do New Dog Owners Normally Feel Like This?
Posted on February 17th, 2010 16 commentsI really wanted a ragdoll cat but my parents were against it. They said dogs were better and if I had to get a pet, I should get a dog. I still wanted a cat but didn’t want to disappoint my parents so I agreed to getting a dog. So I did my research, found a good breeder and got my dog. It’s been over a week now, he is 5 months old. It seems to have seperation anxiety already and cries when my mom leaves the room but ignores me and has tried to bite me several times. He is terrified of visitors and refuses to be groomed, even though he was ok with all those things at the breeder’s. I want to play with him and love him but he doesn’t want to play with me and chews everything up even though we bought him tons of high quality toys. I’m a neat freak and when it pees in the house I feel disgusted. My parents seem to be ok with the dog but I am starting to hate him. He doesn’t like me and I don’t like him. Is this a normal feeling when getting a new pet? Will I end up loving him and he loving me? I’m starting to regret not getting a cat and I don’t want to feel this way for the next 10 years I’ll spend with my dog. Is this just a phase because I’m not used to him yet?

My Young Siamese Cat Just Gave Birth To 5 Kittens This Morning, Within An Hour She Was Leaving Them.?
Posted on February 15th, 2010 10 commentsShe will come down stairs every now and then and leaves her kittens alone. She has food, water and litter tray up there but keeps coming down stairs. She chose to give birth in the spare room. Do you think i should bring the kittens down stair in their bed as she seems to want to spend more time down stairs, or shall i shut her in the spare room??
